Ethanol
#11
RE: Ethanol
I drink about once or twice a month at home.

I'll usually have about 2-3 50/50 Captain and coke. If not, wine or something else.

I don't like being so drunk that I can't control myself... so I haven't gotten that drunk in forever. But I do love me a good buzz and being overall "silly". I'm only 27 so I almost never get a hangover (I've had 2 total so far). The worst symptom in the morning for me is a dry mouth, which is remedied with a shit ton of water!

Pro-tip: enjoy a nightcap of a glass or two of water. Many hangover symptoms are caused by dehydration.

Tell that to the drunk me.. Big Grin

Scruffy's friend nursed his hangover at our place once (without my consent, I might add!), and he thought I was about to beat/shout the crap out of him, when I approached. He felt a lot better though, when he realized that I had some rehydrating liquid and 800mg of ibuprofen to offer him Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I got drunk on a cruise, and my mother gave me some headache pills with lots of water. She did say the only reason was that the next morning was the big snorkeling trip. Otherwise she'd have just let me reap what I sewed.

I hate being hungover on cruises. Matter of fact, I hate cruises. And hangovers. Tongue

How could you hate cruises?

RE: Ethanol
I'm going on a cruise (my first) in March. Hmmmm. (Maybe that's a thread of its own)

As for drinking, I love being drunk, but hate the hangovers. Also, being as I have spina bifida, my plumbing system needs to be coddled somewhat. Alcohol consumption can get things moving in a somewhat more urgent manner than I like. So, therefore, I limit it to a swig of the wine that I am using to crockpot.

I'd sure like to just say "**** it all", though, and get on here and drunk post sometime.

I don't know what that is, but it sounds like something that might be used to torture me.
