So you're probably still having cravings for meat. Don't worry, though, that will go away over time.

I've been a vegetarian for about an hour.

That's not very Christian.

God the Heavenly Father put these beautiful creatures on this Earth for us to look after (the sheep, the cows, the chickens) so that we are fed with sustenence and grow to be strong and healthy like Him.

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Well, except for those unfortunate people with meat allergies.

That's not what it says in Genesis. In fact, quite the opposite. If you believe the Bible literally, Adam and Eve were vegan.
That's MISTER Godless Vegetarian Tree Hugging Hippie Liberal to you.

Um, no offense meant to the religious folk. . . but fuck off. This is a thread about the morality of vegetarianism. It has nothing to do with religion.
