Hello all!  Been drawing for a long time, but for too many years I didn't think it was so important to try to learn any techniques, mostly just did whatever I felt like, so in recent years I've been trying to improve.  Feel like I'm a bit slow to take in new ideas and break old habits that have gotten comfortable, and especially trying to get used to digital ever since I got myself a tablet has been pretty difficult, but I think I'm starting to understand stuff more and more and find better ways of doing things.  Unfortunately I don't have much recent stuff from this year, but I do have a handful from last year I kinda like.  Mostly video game/anime/other characters I like.  Hopefully it's not too many...I guess otherwise I'll have to shorten it or something.

While I did not draw this, I did remake it (right) and fixed all the errors along the way:

A crossover for Power Rangers Wild Force and Ninja Storm. Something that never happened in the show. Took me weeks to composite the different teams together.  Had to sift through episodes and press release images and even get backdrops. Some of the actors I had use parts from different sources to complete them or fix their uniforms after I had to mirror them. Shadows and highlights also had to be recreated so that everyone looks like they're in the same time and place as each other. This was the post r/powerrangers deemd "Low Effort" and was removed as a result.

Just to be clear the song playing in the video is not be performed by me, I just did an abridged edit of Delicate Steve's song.

It was OK and I was a good technician (follow the sheet music and memorize), but it was more of a thing my parents wanted and I complied but didn't really trip my trigger.

^Sucks that you were forced into it. I tried to learn the Harmonium when I was 8 or so. I quickly hated it but since I fought to have it thought to me, I felt like I owed it to my parents to fall through with it. Ended up quiting I think a couple of years after. Doesn't help that my brother was pushing me (in the worng way) to continue.
