RE: Dreams
I've had a few epic dreams and at one time I used to write them down.

When I was very young I dreamed I went up a conical hill with a winding spiral path leading to the top. At the top was a giant fish that laughed at and oppressed everyone. I cut it's head off and woke up thinking I was drowning in all the blood. I always thought the fish represented religion.

Okay, I had to share this one. Last night I dreamed I was in a cool lesbian rock band, and our hit single was called "Pet My Pussy." It was awesome.

I'd see that show. Glam rock or punk rock? There's a big difference for a lesbian rock group...
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Neither, actually. Just, you know, rock.

Boru

What is candy floss?

I just had a new glass put on my tablet, and I dreamt that I broke it again, then looked closely at it and the aluminum back plate was cracked I tried to fix it and had to lift out the glass and there was lasagna under the glass.. So the secrete to iPads is lasagna... Or I guess I really miss pasta.

Oh, here is a re occurring dream I've had since I was six or seven. This dream happened once or twice a year. I was one of several kids. We always met up on a set of rail road tracks. And we walk along the tracks a bit, till a train came, then we'd hop on and ride it to a large train yard. Where there were always a lot more. We all came together, and had fun jumping on and off the trains, but we knew someone would eventually get hit by a train. that is how I always woke up from everyone of these dreams. After About 15 years of this, I began to notice the survivors always stayed the same and the ones that died never came back. Then instead of riding the trains the survivors tried to give each other our contact info so we could contact each other in the real world. I could never remember any numbers. Over the years, the group got smaller and smaller till one day it was my turn. I got hit by a train and I have not been back since.

Just incase any of you had a similar experience, we had a word...

I believe that's true English for "cotton candy".

I used to remember my dreams alot, and I enjoyed them. They were little bits and pieces of reality that just didn't quite add up. Like sitting on a mountainside, watching a helicopter take off in the far, far distance and proceed in a straight line away from me, and the noise from it was as if I was on the helipad watching the takeoff. Also, this helicopter took off from Utah bound for Idaho, two states which, at the time, I had never been to, and so had no concept of.

RE: Dreams
Last night I dreamt I was replacing everything in my bedroom, but I was so sleepy it was difficult to even move my body, let alone lift anything. I'm guessing I wasn't quite fully asleep and part of my brain was awake and trying to make me act out my dream or sleepwalk.

I just realised that the next time I do sleepwalk, my sister is no longer here to listen out and make sure I don't wander off outside. Shit.
Not that I've ever tried to go outside yet, but I remember when our Mum used to try and get out whilst sleepwalking, so I'm scared of the same thing happening to me.

I hate it when you dream that you need to do something in a hurry but you can barely move. Like you're trying to pull yourself out of thick mud.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.

RE: Dreams
I have dreams that I'm here online in the forums. I can't see myself, just the mouse and I'm surfing threads and sending PMs to people. It's fine and dandy until my internet connection fucks up and I get to keep seeing the messages pile up in my inbox and important things are dropped!

I think it's my brain telling my brain that I have been away from the forums too much Tongue I'm working on a music video (doing graphic art) and haven't had a free moment to think!

I guess I loves you guys Tongue
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
