I don't doubt that we dig and find fossils. I do doubt some of the inferences drawn from those fossils.

then how do you explain the alignment of genetic tree, how do you account for us and apes being closely alike?

this whole situation is like someone told you your dad is dead, a couple days later he comes to your house and he's standing right there. but you still believe he is dead.

Things that are designed and have similar appearance and functions will have similar blueprints.

ETA: BTW, why the switch from the fossil record to genetics? Not finding fossils all that compelling?
