I didn't include the Atheist Ghostbusters parody logo since atheism is a serious independent ideology that don't need to be copied or associated with a film.

Have to disagree with you about this. Humor is quite appropriate when dealing with nonsense. I don't think of atheism as a "serious independent ideology". It merely denotes ones non-participation in one variety of nonsense. There is no positive core of ideology at the center of atheism.

The symbols of atheism that I like most are not on your poll. They are these things:

I didn't include the Scarlett letter atheist symbol because it could be misinterpreted with the Hawthorne novel.

That's the logo of the Out Campaign made by Richard Dawkinsand he designed it based on the Scarlet letter.

I ain't want to sound disrespectful but do you have any idea what that logo means? Because that logo has corelations with a negative elements all based on the A of Adultery that are mentioned in the Scarlet letter novel.

Adultery in a bad thing.
Atheism is claimed to be a good thing.

Adulterers should rightly feel bad and repent.
Atheists are urged to feel good and rebel.

Adultery is destructive to trust, the family and society.
Atheism is said to be constructive.

Adultery is conducive to shame.
Atheism is conducive to pride.

Those are the precepts of the Out Campaign

And atheism is a way of thinking independently if you want to join a particular campaign or not . There are many free-thinking campaigns around the world like the Flying Spaghetti Monster also known as Pastafarianism(the second logo you mentioned) it is unfair just to mention de Americans logos so we either mention them all the logos or do not mention any logo refers to a group and just vote the ones referring to atheism and only atheism.

Of the choices, I like the Atheist Atom verson. I am planning a tattoo of that, with a tiny Earth in the middle of the A.

I've seen images like the one you mention. But if you want to be clear that it is a atheism logo I would suggest that you make a reference of the letter A somewhere in the image to avoid misunderstandings.

And on the images I saw the earth was at the center and the image of the particle circling around the planet was replaced by an image of the moon.
And in other was replaced by a star(or it was a comet? I don't remember very well).
