Hello! I'm Lili, an 18 year old American, soon-to-be college student. I'm currently wondering about living a meaningful versus happy life. Actually, I just want to connect with people who don't believe in a god/religion and see how the heck you're surviving. That sounds bad, but, lately I've been a stressed ball of a student and being very critical of myself. I think talking with other like-minded people will help me figure out what to do as an insignificant speck in this world with no given divine purpose :]

Newbie  Religious Views: I used to think religion is for weak people. I don't know anymore. I've never believed in any religion or god. I do like sounding out the Hindu gods though. Krishna and Vishnu sound cool :P

The Minimalists are a school of thought - basically centered in Copenhagen and Sheffield Univ in Britain. In effect, they regard the OT as having minimal historical usefulness and reliability.
20 years ago they were revolutionary. These days they are pretty much mainstream as archaeology and science has demolished biblical claims. |
