Greasemonkey is a Firefox addon (might be available for other browsers) that allows inline modification of a rendered page (by manipulating the DOM and/or CSS, I believe).

Well then it should make you happy that when I screw up mine I then edit them and fix them myself, I hate having improperly formatted posts.

I often use indentation instead of quotes like so:

This actually makes it easier when someone is quoting one of my posts since the LIST tag cannot be confused with the QUOTE tag.

Speaking only for myself, it is appreciated when care is taken to do it right - it certainly makes for less moderator work. Kudos for your diligence.

I'll also say that bbcode is somewhat clunky and unintuitive if you're not used to markup languages and so we are here to help.
