We wouldn't need to exercise so much caution if our weapons weren't so deadly.

I'd love to have a phaser with a stun setting. Them thugs would live but for hitting me I'd kick their fucking teeth in before they woke up.

If phasers existed, I would support a law that limited non-military use to ones that are limited to 'stun'. Even the police would only have stun-capable phasers.

And if they existed, I would carry one instead of a firearm.

The police will shoot kids of any age when the kid has the ability to perceivably inflict bodily harm to them. They are trained this way.

Should they be trained to take a shot or a stab or two if the perp is young?

Should an elderly man consent to serious injury, which at their age may even cause death, from the beatings of an adult sized 15 or 16 year old thug?

I agree, don't care old they are, if they have a gun or anything that can cause death, shoot them strait in the chest, bring them down fast, we don't need trash like this in our society.
