I fucking love cilantro. So glad I'm not a SNP mutant.

Here's why you hate cilantro:

Same here. Soap, but I can get used to soap, especially since my wife loves it. That opens the door for some fun mendelian genetics, too.

This time lapse composite image follows all four launches of the small, multi-stage rockets to explore winter's mesmerizing, aurora-filled skies. During the exposures, stars trailed around the North Celestial Pole, high above the horizon at the site 30 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Lidar, beams of pulsed green lasers, also left traces through the scene. Operating successfully, the payloads lofted were two Mesosphere-Lower Thermosphere Turbulence Experiments (M-TeX) and two Mesospheric Inversion-layer Stratified Turbulence (MIST) experiments, creating vapor trails at high altitudes to be tracked by ground-based observations.

Love it. The whole composition with the snowy landscape and the aurorae.
Though it reminds me of something else. Let's see whether you know what it is:

What is it?

What?!!?!
That's crazy. But I could only think of two things --- weapon, and Pink Floyd. I figured Roger Waters doesn't have that kind of reach...

It was a Capabilities exercise (CAPEX). I am sitting on a pier in fatigues with Admirals, Commodores, and Commandants from Navies and Marine Corps all over the world, and the US Navy basically flopped its big dick on the beach to scare everyone. There was a Amphib, a cruiser, and a boomer, I believe it was the USS Pennsylvania, off the coast of North Carolina. They launched a fake amphibious assault on the beach. LCACs were bringing Abrams tanks ashore, gators were hitting the beach, Harriers and Hornets were "dropping" bombs (read: triggering explosives on the beach), the USS Cape St. George was sending 5" projectiles overhead onto the bomb range on Camp LeJeune. It was a sight to behold.
When all was said and done, the Pennsylvania birthed a Trident missile into the dusk and about 3 minutes later you just see 10 lightning bolts hit the ocean (with much fanfare) in pretty rapid succession. It was awesome in the most base sense.

Hell, I saw one B2 bomber coming in to land at Offutt AFB and I almost wrecked my car.
Creepy looking unnatural preversion of an airplane that thing is !!!
