So every new topic on this forum is relevant? Maybe to you, but not to me.

Furthermore, asking for the relevance is not the same as even suggesting it is irrelevant. I wanted to know to what purpose tackattack deemed it relevant to know about official debating skills of his opponents.

Even so, his answer suggested that it has no relevance at all.

What I'm trying to ask is... you think it's not relevant to what? To the topic that he started? I don't get it... what is it irrelevant to exactly?

I think he was just doing a motive check and I gave him my motives. Motivation is a crux with a lot of atheists I'm finding. Where does it stem from?

This is a topic in the atheist discussion forum. The topic is related to atheism so how more relevant can it get?

I thought that might be what he meant but I still don't really get his question.

To answer the question: No, I haven't participated in a formal debate and and have no interest at the moment. I find them interesting, but have no interest in taking part in one. The thought of public speaking horrifies me.

For the record, I totally thought this thread was going to be a bad lightbulb joke.

For some reason, song preference tends to be extremely relevant in Off topic sections of fora.
