Odd premise... flossing ones teeth to get the food in their mouth out so they can eat it again?

I think it more likely that it unjammed food that was uncomfortable in the mouth (as we sometimes might notice ourselves?)... and so the monkey has taken to doing this because it makes it feel better.

Perhaps thats what they really said in the video, and I'm just misinterpreting their message?
