One wonders whether you'd have the same position if you were in the minority. Thinking

Gotta love the implicit threat in this line, you slimy fuck.

Quote:The State has a vested interest in maintaining religious beliefs in society.

You assert this, apparently keeping yourself willfully ignorant of the statistics that show that religious societies are, in general, worse off in a lot of areas that secular societies are better at, despite having been shown this in another thread.

Interesting how your entire position seems to require you to completely deny objective facts for it to function. Thinking

"Had to"? Or just "did"?

Quote:I don't believe you.. I don't believe you would . I believe you would be begging for the chance to become a muslim.

So then why the fuck did you even ask the question if there was only one answer you were going to allow, you loon? As if what you believe matters a fucking iota, where it concerns what someone else thinks.

look pal, get real. wake up and see the world as it is and not how you wish it to be.

If we, the Christian community ,were as oppressive as you make us out to be ,we would've settled your hash a long time ago.. think about that for a while.

I see the world, have yet to see God. You haven't seen him either. Who's seeing the world as it really is?

Certainly not you.. You choose to be guided by nothing more than an ego unwilling to believe there's anything greater than yourself.

If you are so clear in viewing the world and cannot see anything greater than your own viewpoint ,then are all other 7 billions of people completely wrong and you and few others are completely correct?

Who do you think you're kidding or joking with?

You certainly tried.

1. Horseshit of course people who have been the easiest pleasing things larger than themselves, they believe in things larger than themselves they can actually see an experience like universe, and observable phenomenon within that universe.

2. Argument ad populum. Notice these beliefs change when you get into informed groups of people like scientists and philosophers.

I also like to add, you don't actually believe anything larger than yourself because your believe is psychological, and therefore you believe in yourself and worship yourself more than you can say for any atheist on here.

3. Some random idiot on the Internet cannot support decisions, and can't even provide a single compelling argument, or answer a single objection to any of the wild claims he makes.

Artur,

After seeing your latest replies, I can see you are the worst kind of intolerant, bigoted, asshole theist.

You refuse to engage honestly in any of the conversations you start and you refuse to support any of the assertions you make.

Why don't you go fuck yourself with a cactus?

Keep your atheism to yourself and you won't be bothered.

We're here to stay and only growing, but you and yours are welcome to start building a closet if you wish to hide when you're no longer a majority.

Why do so many theists expect tolerance for their kind, when a great lot of them spout out ignorant and intolerant bs like this?

If you don't like us or take offense to our lack of belief then shouldn't you be turning the other cheek or something?

Bollocks.

I (and no doubt some of 'we') view the universe as much greater than ourselves. I realise I am a small and tiny insignificant spec in the grand scheme of things. You, however, have the egotism to believe that a small spec of it was designed specifically for you.

You're not special. Well, maybe in an intellectual sense, and I don't mean in no good way.

Haha.

See? An argumentum ad populum and a strawman right off the bat. You are indeed special.

Well there's certainly one joke on this thread...
