Eric Cantor: did nothing about jobs, now has to find a new one

Liberaltards twisting his words to try to get others to hate him make that claim.

Your car analogy would only work if the government didn't already provide healthcare to some via Medicare. I'm surprised you didn't consider this obvious distinction.

You now seem to be hiding behind the fact that Brat didn't use the words 'deny healthcare to seniors'. Implementing changes to an existing service that would make it impossible for current recipients to access it is the same as denying them the service. Why is this so difficult for you to understand?

The government denying someone health care is essentially a law barring that person from receiving health care. Simply stopping paying for health care is not denying it....it is simply stopping paying for it.

The government used to hand out cheese to poor people. They stopped..does that mean the government has denied cheese to poor people? Of course not.

Even if Brat wanted to deny people Medicare(which he never claimed)....Medicare is not health care. Medicare is an entitlement that pays for health care. The claim that Brat wants to deny healthcare to seniors is an obvious lie.....designed to get people to hate Brat.

The cheese example is stupid. The cheese was accumulated for reasons not associated with providing for the poor. The disbursement to the poor in order to get rid of excess stockpiles was a rational thing to do. Cheese is also listed as a specific product provided for under W.I.C. so the government is still specifically paying for cheese.

Your case is hopeless if you are relying on the absurd distinction between clinical execution of healthcare and the mechanism used to pay for it.

Let's imagine that I pulled a chair out from under you as you went to sit down; this results in you cracking your tailbone requiring medical expenses. Your reasoning suggests that I am not responsible or liable for the injury if I simply state that I didn't cause you harm; I simply moved a chair.

Government Cheese handout to social security recipients ended in the 90's when Clinton was president. If I got on here and claimed that Clinton has denied cheese to old people you all would have said my claim was ridiculous.....and you'd be right. The claim that Brat wants to deny old people healthcare is just as ridiculous.

Brat never claimed he wanted to end Medicare(at least in the source video MotherJones used). He claimed he wants the program to be sustainable and that goal might require the government handing out fewer benefits.
