The Qur'an was written in the 20th century by Pope Jean Paul II (there's a reason why he was shown kissing it). As for the Torah, no such thing yet.

Just curious. I've seen you make this claim repeatedly here and am wondering if you have some links where I can read about this. It's certainly something I could throw in the christer's faces if I had something to back it up with.

There was great evil in Noah's Day. God is the giver of life and He also can allow it to be taken away. Sin is a very serious thing to God.

This sums up your post (and, basically, all others):
I make an assertion that I have not backed up with evidence. I make another assertion not backed up with evidence. I make yet a third one.
And I do this for fun just to provoke atheists, not because I genuinely believe what I'm spouting here.

I never thought of that, good question. I don't believe that God addresses that. I do know that God gave dominion to man over everything on earth and when he failed He purged everything? That is a guess though, I am not sure.

Rev 6:1 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!"
Rev 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
Rev 6:3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!"
Rev 6:4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
Rev 6:5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.
Rev 6:6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!"
Rev 6:7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!"
Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

this time will be fire. get in the ark!
I am using the "ark" as being figurative of Christ being our only hope for protection from the Lord's wrath against sin coming some time in the near future.

Revelation, the Bible isn't proof of anything. It's a book that is used to indoctrinate people to believing things that have no proof. Faith is not about proof, really. When I was a Christian, I invested time like you, trying to get people to see my points. But, truth is...the Bible is only relevant to a believer. You believe that a god exists, because the Bible states it. You have been indoctrinated to believe this, at some point in your life. Like many of us, myself included, I was indoctrinated into religion as a kid. But, a few years ago, I decided to look into things more objectively.
The Bible isn't proof of anything. It's just a book that you use as a crutch to justify why you believe what you do. It's not a historical account of anything, although there are places and events that did happen in the Bible, serving as backdrops for the fairy tale stories that are depicted throughout. But, barring that, the Bible isn't evidence of anything. At best, it was mankind's way of explaining what it didn't understand about the universe and mankind. At the worst, it's all just a lie.
I choose to think it's something in between.

So your god's Final Solution To The Great Evil Question did fuck all, basically.
No, God is working on restoring the world to its original state, without sin. Got to purge out the sin and the devil first though.

A wooden boat? In a fire? Are you fucknuts or what?
It must be a boat made from chemically impregnated, fire resistant wood as advertised by the born again chemical industry.
Speaking of which, science says life has 500 million - 2.8 billion more years before ending in drought, earth has 6 billion more years before ending in fire, and all creation has >>100 trillion years before ending in ice.
I trust these more than the likes of you.
Scientist be so smartz

You forgot; Christians don't believe in science. So the fire couldn't possibly burn through a wooden boat.
No, Christians believe in the natural and the supernatural.

He's not interested in debate, so it's a preaching thread.

How so, Rev? How is your set of rigorous, ritualistic beliefs in a deity and an afterlife not religion?
And, moreover, are you saying that your particular brand of belief is not responsible for evil in this world? A lot of it?
My definition of religion is man's effort in trying to have a relationship with God. Having a relationship with Christ because He sought me out and I opened my heart to Him is what I believe in. There is a great gulf between a person who proclaims to be a Christian and a genuine one.
