To me, supernatural answers are non-answers, not even wrong answers, empty answers, in short, useless answers. In fact, I defy you to explain a single thing by way of a "supernatural answer". Bonus points if you find some "supernatural answer" by a "logical method". If you find them satisfying, I suspect that you may be halting inquiry when a suitably "supernatural" conjecture comes along - instead of following an explanation down the rabbit hole.

What you need to look for first is God. When you look from that perspective you will see evidence of his actions.
No snidey proud posturing in front of your peers is going to get you that.

Let Lek decide if he will give me the details I'm after. You've failed several times thus far, so go troll someone else.

(honest question, can you explain the difference between any of those and the platitude you offered?)

It's called confirmation bias.
Make an assumption and then look for anything that may seem like it supports the assumption, ignoring all the evidence that suggests otherwise.

LOL good one
Those would be abuses of that principle. You'd make a fine Catholic!
There's this instruction book where this is all explained.

Whadda ya mean would, lol
How do we decide what might be an abuse of the principle. Please recall that we're talking about a book with magic bread and dragons in it. I don;t see why jesus -wouldn't- be on a piece of toast, or an asshole. What makes their apophenia any lesser (or greater) than your own? If you can't provide an explanation for this then I would be forced to consider your proposition to belong to the toast-asshole group by way of compelling similarities.

I think that the catholics make a great example of what I'm trying to figure out. They have holy relics and shrines and trinkets and pieces of saints skulls and bags of toe-knuckles.....
-all of this is what they found when they went out looking for a god on the advice of their book.
Now, I'm not willing to call the religious experience of every deeply devout catholic insincere (and I don't imagine that you would either) but both of us view this sort of stuff with a comic glint in our eyes. Am I right? This is a font of comedic commonality between us? Clearly we both see that people can go out looking for a god, and find that god - and still we may not be willing to grant them that god in all it;s particulars..no matter how compelling their experience. Does your own advice and method on how to find christ actually defeat the criticisms you might make of the catholic journey? If so, how so? Is there not a way to succinctly demonstrate the dividing line between the two (there has to be?)?
