God is terrified of buildings

RE: God is terrified of buildings
God couldn't sink the Titanic. It was made of iron.

Interesting how the ship was "designed to challenge God", yet her sister ships Olympic and Britannic, not to mention the later and even larger Queen Mary, were all left alone.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Germans didn't seem to have a problem sinking Britannic, though.

Ah, but they had explosives. All this "God" ever has is lightning and earthquakes. Or biological weapons that would make "him" a war criminal.

Napoleon said something like - "If thunderbolts were available they should be preferable to cannon."

One wonders why that would bother a "god."

Sounds like a real pussy.
The "god" was just a man who was trying to manage threats to his empire. It's why we have so many conflicts and wars around the world today. The people in charge (gods) are trying to keep the rabble from uniting against them so they stir up trouble just like the Babylonian Emperor did against the Jews who were trying to become a major force in his empire.

The parallel to the Tower of Babel story is in Exodus chapter 1:8-14.
