It's kinda weird. I was born on California but my family moved out before I was even out of diapers. But, I've been to more cities and places in California than I have to two states I've lived the majority of my life in, Oregon and Colorado. I've given directions to tourists in San Francisco despite never having lived there and the California coast line is more familiar to me that Oregon's.

Still, I've lived in seven states and been to 43 of them and there is no place I'd rather be than here. I'm a mountain boy and while lots of places have mountains, none of them are the Rocky Mountains!

If any of you ever come to Denver and need a local guide, let me know!

I'm actually closer to Mt. St. Helens, it's about 20 miles NNE as the crow flies, but I can't see it from my property due to the stand of mature timber on a slight ridge to the north.

Salem, eh? Hmmm, what can I say nice about Salem?... I got nothin'. LOL
