I don't believe in the supernatural. Not ESP, ghosts, astrology, prophecy, or anything else like it. I don't believe in UFO visitations either. Alternative medicine is often possible--everything was alternative once. It's just that I'm not swayed by a bunch on anecdotal evidence. Prove it works, and I'm right there.

That said, I'm sure there are a number of things I should be more skeptical about but someone else will have to tell me what they are because I can't see them.

Everyone has a belief that is probably, somewhere, absurd and contradictory to the evidence available. Often we just don't see or notice them, or we are never exposed to the alternative view so we don't get the chance to reassess or defend our view.

I'd like to think I'm skeptical, especially over things that concern, for example, health (as you say, alternative medicine and anecdotal evidence). Things like energy crystals and chakras are obviously hokum.

I suppose the conclusion is never take anything prima facie.

I am no believer of Ghost or God.
But what I think is the only possible way that any alien creature will appear infront of you is through space or through another dimension. Matrix, dimensions over all universe are still not understood so...even if the ghost appeared it would be a huge discovery, trust me. Where do they come from?What do they feed on? our dreams?lol. Do they have high intellect then ours? Its aliens stuff all over again.
If we discovered ghost then we can tell them to teach us to be like them. No job worries, no food nothing. Hide under the bed and scare people off? Sounds like a great occupation.
So, No no ghost sorry.

I like to dance about with concepts when I'm in the mood but in the cold light of day if I had to (nobody laugh please) swear on the bible! I would say:

I don't stress over the origins of the universe (nothing/something before pre BB ...who gives a shit)
The only thing which bothers me is WHY THE FUCK CAN'T WE CREATE A SELF REPLICATING ORGANISM FROM CHEMICALS!!!!! followed sensibly by:
THERE BETTER NOT BE A FUCKING GOD OUT THERE MAKING PLANETS AND STUFF UP!
