Crazy Bastards Upset at Being Depicted as Bad Guys

Of course they are going into a video game. They are the perfect bad guys. They are a fanatical group with a lot of guns.

In the clip they make jokes about killing people in mosques in video games and how it would be probably illegal. Bullshit, I've shot plenty of people in video game mosques. In fact I'm pretty sure I've even done that in battlefield 3.. At this point I have the feeling I've shot just about every group of people in about every location there is at some point or another in game.

The real question is why are Dice/EA wasting time on single player missions when nobody gives a shit about single player.

Well, it's a much more realistic threat to the US than fucking North Korea, that's for sure.

Plus, EA has apparently done their homework.

Actually, while I don't play these "realistic" FPS games, I do prefer single-player to multi-player in just about everything else. I play video games to get away from you assholes Big Grin

That's odd, I've been wondering why they waste time on multiplayer when all I ever play is the single player missions.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

I have heard from Secular Talk that right wing terrorist groups are more of a threat than other terrorist groups, but it's harder to get people hopped up on patriotic fervor if the terrorists you're talking about are white american rightwing extremists.

Here's hoping that one of the Battlefield: Hardline missions has you taking out Cliven Bundy's band of assholes.

Hardline just pisses me off. It's like they fixed all the broken shit in BF4 and are saying, "Here's the game you should have had in November. Fuck you. Pay me." After paying $100 for a BF4 that had more bugs and glitches than any game I've ever seen; I will have to pass on Hardline. Don't get me wrong it's a fun game, but I want to give DICE/EA some time to reflect on how they destroyed BF before giving them anymore money.

At least they are pushing it back until next year after reviewing community feedback. Methinks poor pre-order sales might also have something to do with that.

I was being extreme for the sake of it. But.. with games like Battlefield, Call of Duty and the like. The Single player is a 4-5 hour waste of energy. Very few people are going out spending £60 for Battlefield Hardline single player. Meanwhile you are talking up to 200 hours of play to max out your multiplier rank.

I think anyone who buys a game like battlefield or cod just for the single player has wasted money. I feel the same about when developers waste money bolting a crappy multiplayer onto a single player game. I have to wonder if a lot of both single player and multiplayer focused games would have been more polished if they didn't try to cram the other in at great expense of time and money.

Like with anything else, if you're going to do a half assed job, you might as well have not done it at all.
