If you want to teach your daughter(or son) that she should wait because stds and pregnancy that is fine. That is not the issue that I take. The issue is that people cannot turn thoughts and feelings off just because of a marriage certificate. So if you teach them that sex(sexuality/sexual thoughts) outside of marriage are sinful/wrong/bad/dirty that is wrong. It's a disgusting thing to tell a child that something natural (something they will inevitably feel and/or think about) is something they should be ashamed of.

Ps. I see nothing wrong with sex as a sport. I have my own "demons" (thank you PTSD) mixing sex and love leaves me feeling icky and violated.

Agreed. I've had some good "connections" with casual acquaintances.

So our females stay virgins.

Or else what? Their will be blood?

I don't know, Muslims don't talk about anything remotely sexual (except teens and creeps, and I know more about sex than these two imagine that)

And by the way, pregnant is profane (source: mum)

How can someone do it with someone they're not in love with?

I didn't think my views on the topic were very strong or of interest to anyone else, but it occurs to me that this is essentially an Adam Smith capitalism thread.

Really, bear with me here.

Anyhow, the topic is of a possible constraint on 'supply'. Now we all know 'demand' is relatively inflexible (insatiable springs to mind too) and if um, conventional outlets are harder to encounter, then there will be a percentage willing to, as they say, take a walk on the wild side.

So, it looks like I need to step up to the plate. (while advocating a return of maidenly virtue)

Ohh ok haha I get it now. Lol

Umm....I think we are technically searching for different men, but I guess there's be more bi men available to you if women didn't have sex.

I think that the right question would be. Is banning premarital sex a harmful to women? Because you do realize that there are couples that waited until wedding night and have a healthy relationship right? I mean no one can assume how things are gonna develop in the bedroom.

I don't know, bae, I think my OP makes it pretty clear what I meant. I'm not saying virginity is bad or that it should be discouraged. I'm just saying that it shouldn't be promoted in ways that make the person feel ashamed of their sexuality. It shouldn't be brainwashed into little girls who don't even know what sex is. You children shouldn't be taught that sex is dirty or sinful or bad.
Of course choosing not to have sex until marriage on your own volition is acceptable.
