Canada is now slowly becoming more fascist, but I have decided I am not leaving again, this time I am staying and fighting.
So as much as politics and religion are not usually reasons to live somewhere, I would rather live somewhere a little warmer (with a longer growing season), but that is currently Nazi-land the theme park down there. Although I can't really tell the difference between Canada and America anymore.
It is super-secular, but I am a believer.
Have you noticed that after you move somewhere it starts becoming more facist?
Are a recruiter for the Nazis or something?

That's really funny No, I never considered that I might be the cause. Do you disagree that America has been slowly changing it's identity over the years, and Canada is following suit? You in the UK right? What about the CCTV everywhere? You're in the big brother state worse that we nowadays.

Today at work in the Bible Belt, one of my bosses was tasked to present the "Thought of the Day." She chose George Carlin's bit on aging and how we approaching aging at different ages. The Christians in the group agreed that Carlin was "insightful." I didn't have the heart to tell them.

I dont think America has changed its identity, but I do think that some groups are becoming more vocal.
This Prompts other groups to become more vocal against them.
And so it goes on in a self reinforcing cycle.
Britain does have a lot of cameras but so far their use seems to be mainly benign.
Did I accuse you at some point of having a surveilance society?

I guess most people here could be nicer than others, but I don't have any experience to say so. Never have traveled outside of my region.
