Hey Min,
Thought about you when I read Bill O'Riley's brilliant idea about how to fight ISIS and defeat them. We need an army of mercenaries. What could go wrong?

O'Reilly is a fucking moron. We HAD an army of mercenaries. They were called the Iraqi Army and, much as Machiavelli predicted, when confronted with a bunch of shits driving pickup trucks they ran like rabbits!

I'm sick of this whole "we have to TRAIN our allies to fight like proper gentlemen" shit. We sound like the British!
If people join an army because we have bombed their fucking country back to the stone age and there are no other jobs we should not think that they will be highly invested in supporting the government that is nothing but out puppet.

Mercenaries would be a grand idea if you could pay them enough. Trouble is, you can't. Citizen soldiers (volunteers, I mean, not conscript troops) fight for reasons other than money.
Miss a single payroll to your mercenary army and watch them disappear like a fart in a stiff breeze.
