I think this is why some christians were taught that the bible was written personally by Yahweh and handed down. Saying it was written by men who claimed divine inspiration doesn't add much credence to the idea.

I have an announcement which may shed some light on this issue.

This morning I had a divine revelation, and this is what God dictated to me:

3) Yecize is my name, and all other past and future gods are not real.
4) I created the universe
5) The one and only time I have intervened with the universe is by sending this message
6) After this message is sent I will remove myself from reality, I will not exist any more

8) Everything written here is exactly as I want it written

I am suggesting that after reading and/or studying parts of the bible and being exposed to the views of Christians around you, you created your own god in your mind and then called it the god of the bible. Yes.

What is the difference between the God of the Bible and the 'god I have created in my own mind?' And when you give your answer, how will I know that your answer is the God of the Bible and not just the god you created in your mind after reading and/or studying parts of the bible and being exposed to the views of Christians around you?

You won't. That's the point. The bible is just a story book. Any gods in existence, exist only in the minds of the believers who created them after having been exposed to their holy book of choice and the views of other Christians around them.
