We got off on a bad start, but clearly you've been making an attempt and I see it. Keep trying. You deserve to be here as much as anyone else. Just remember that.

Otherwise, it's been a nice year and a half. This forum really is a time suck, it's probably for the best that I won't use it anymore if it gets to that Big Grin.

There's no reason to suck up to people -regardless- of whether or not they hate you.  You might find, EP, that there's a relationship between the amount of attention and approval seeking behavior one engages in, and ones relative happiness or QOL.  Be it here on the boards, or elsewhere in life. Good luck to you wherever that is.
