Depends on your definition of dumb. He is fundamentally ignorant, since he takes apologist literature as gospel. But I agree, the banned person didn't give the impression of Randy. Randy had a way with words and is far too arrogant to create a sock like that. Also, he wouldn't change his MO of copy pasting, because he can't. Randy is at his base a fundamentally empty person, devoid of any personality to express.

First, we have no way of knowing whether or not Randy and Randy's brother are the same person. In fact, it's my opinion that Randy is too arrogant to dumb down his grammar, spelling, and syntax in order to fly under the radar.

You obviously have a higher opinion of him than I do.  And it is not hard to "dumb down" one's grammar, especially for the "greater good" of trying to convert heathens to the One True Religion™.  And if you really want me to say what I want about him, I think he was a total dumbass.  Given the original Randy's tendency to simply copy and paste, how could you possibly know what his normal grammar was like anyway?  His posts were of other people's writings and consequently reflected their understanding of grammar, not his.

No, but he admitted in open forum that he would lie and steal to spread the word. I don't think dumbing down his grammar for the same purpose is a stretch at all.

While I have little doubt he would suck off a donkey, in order to score brownie points with Jebus - I don't see how impersonating an even more demented moron than himself would accomplish anything in that respect. He'd been here long enough to realize that preaching trolls of that kind don't last here long enough to spread their butt-cheeks, let alone word of god. Especially, if they have a name immediately identity of a banned ex-member.

We've had a lot of trolls around recently - it could have been any of them, or even a completely new one - possibly, but not necessarily directly inspired by Randy.

Coincidences like that are not as rare as people think

We count the hits and ignore the misses. We don't think of all the numerous trolls that don't have a name also involving the name Randy, and there's bound to be others.
