Hi, name is Blee and I'm from Canada.
I'm not an atheist (I'm Christian, but don't associate myself with any denomination so I can ignore all the baggage that usually comes with it), but I come in peace. I believe debate and discussion is beneficial for everyone, and I'd just like to chime in at these forums and expose myself to the atheistic perspective for a while.
I come from a non-christian background but i've always been exposed to the catholic/christian teachings since when I was in elementary school. Currently, I work full-time with a typical 8-5 schedule in field of engineering, junior level.
I like gaming, drumming, all types of music, manga and... gaming (mostly PC). Your typical nerd.
Hopefully I'll be able to share my perspective as much as I hope to learn from you all.

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

Glad to have another perspective to open up discussions around here. People are so bored they are drawing their names on walls and things.. :/

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
