Why does God use an army to fight, when He Could Do it alone?

Somebody asked me this question a while ago and this is my answer. It may help others on this forum to know God better.
God graciously allows the Angels to fight the battles with the Devil and his demons. God is omniscient and already knows who will be successful in every battle. If God himself were to oppose Satan it would not be a battle since God is omnipotent.

First provide evidence of the existence of God, angels, demons, and Satan; then explain how you know any of this.

And we know how much god loves to watch a battle. There's no fun in destroying evil without blood and gore.

If he fought all his battles, where would he get offerings? He needs to let his minions do some fighting so they can praise him afterwards and offer him bloody spoils.
Or maybe because the initial idea of Yahweh was not an omnipotent creator, but a war god in a pantheon that was basically the Babylonian version of Ares. Look up Canaanite pantheon. It puts things into perspective.

If he's not getting enough blood, gore, and glorious sexual depravity in his battles... and he intends to pay well: have him give me a call.

Well, depends on the demon, and how it got into your plane. Expelling (say, exorcism) is cute, but it takes a very long time, and an exactitude few are capable of. It is a demon summoned? You mar the symbol of binding, and it'll be out of your world in a jiffy. Bonus points in humiliation if you do this with a jar of Jiffy™.
These are not easy to manage for the populace. You could consider "holy water", but it will only work if you're faith burns from within you... and I would recommend direct blood contact from the faithful. Hurts like all hell.
Is it a demon native to your plane? Afraid you're gonna have to go physical for that one, but the plus side is that you can actually kill it. As in dead. Super dead. More fun than simply banishing it.
One thing you have to remember, is that demons do not care *what* faith is bringing them down... are you a super self-confident arrogant prick who believes in himself when facing an "obviously superior" demon? Congratulations, you've met the bar to faith. Good luck, you no-talent-wannabe-badass
