1. If the holy spirit inspired which books of the bible were to be canonized, why were hebrews, james and 3 john left out the first few times? Did the spirit change it's mind?:

angel-cloud: Your question is ambiguous, but let me see if I can help. The Bible is the word of God - His word. All scripture is therefore God-breathed. If there were any books of the Bible that were "left out the first few times", they were not "left out" by God. God didn't "canonize" the Bible. He simply declared it to be the truth.

Finally, the Spirit did not "change its mind" since God is immutable. And the Spirit is not an "it"; He's one of the Persons of the Godhead.

2. Do you believe jonah really was able to live in a fish and survive?

4. If the entire bible is the truth, how do we not accept slavery anymore? How do we say homosexuality is ok?

First, who's the "we" who don't accept slavery anymore, and what kind of "slavery" are you talking about? Can't answer an unclear question. You need to clarify it.

Second, practiced homosexuality is not accepted by everyone, and God never has accepted it. He classifies it as an abomination.

Noah's flood is simply a war story. It tells how he evaded the invading enemy army that swept through the area destroying and pillaging everything it encountered. The story uses number of war and peace words to show that it was just a war story.

BTW, have you forgotten how Ethiopia, Assyria, Persia, and Arabia were just down the road from the Garden of Eden where Adam & Ever were and how those places and all their people were just fine after the "flood"? So where's the record that those places were ever flooded to their highest mountain?

And remember, the stories about how the Egyptians periodically swept through the land as well as the Ethiopian Emperor and his million man army.

Basically only idiots think that an extra layer of water six miles deep covered the world, disappeared in a month or so, and left all of the fresh water lakes and rivers undisturbed and intact olive trees covered the land.

Even to someone who may not be a partisan in this discussion, they should at least be able to comprehend your purposefully slanted, and erroneous depiction of history. But what is amazing is that the Bible also addresses your suppression of the truth:

Why don't you have a look at the evidence presented to you?

You're quoting a single book and think it's superior to scientific discovery. Do you even expect to be taken serious? By the same token I can quote Harry Potter or the Lord of the Rings and claim them to be evidence.
