I only learned a little about i and have heard that it has a lot of use in troubleshooting electronic circuits but I have never applied the knowledge to anything or understood its use. Have you ever found a practical use for i?

All we did (in a further mathematics class nonetheless) is map out the number line in 2 dimensions in order to get representations of i. I can still remember some of the algebra...*shudders*.

I don't see mairrage as a 1 way street, more like a 2 lane highway.

I decided on http://www.religiousforums.com/ and am contemplating http://www.christianforums.com/
I also joined HAF just for a control. I'm already devoid of hope for literal creationists.

I like the posts of one of the atheists on there already
"All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

I think most of those stages happen at the same time. I mean, look at Evolution. It is ridiculed by those who do not understand it, violently opposed by the religiously deluded, and accepted as being self-evident by people who actually know what they are talking about.

Somehow I don't think that's the case. I think in a few hundred years we'll start to dismiss religion altogether.
