Nothing "ill matched" at all.

Quit trying to separate ideas from evolution. Abstracts are still communicated through a physical world. Just like 1 is not material but is a communication of denoting objects. I still need a physical computer to type that last sentence and you still need your computer to read it.

Ideas have impact on life. You cannot stop people from making communications of ideas. But it is important to understand evolution as part of going after bad ideas.

Human outside of evolutionary scientists do not understand their own behavior and the real reasons they are doing it. It is important to view their claims through evolution. It will help you better in deconstructing ANY bad idea.

The only one here confused is you. Not me. The books I mentioned make the connection between evolution and religion and how our false perceptions are a result of evolution. If you think that is "a waste of time" then do't waste your time attacking Islam or any idea or claim any human makes ever.

Do you accept evolution and science? If you do then do not ignore the connection. There is an evolutionary reason humans make bad claims and create groups centered around those bad claims. Islam is merely one bad claim in our species history. It is merely the biggest trouble maker right now. But all bad claims have to be communicated to spread.
