Sexodus?!?

RE: Sexodus?!?
I have problems with some aspects of extreme feminism. For instance, I once got into a vigorous debate with Sarah Braasch at Daylight Atheism based on her use of the term "gender genocide" regarding the state of gender relations in America -- this was around 2009 or 2010. To me, the use of such a term was beyond the pale, insofar as it was designed to elicit a visceral response of horror that in so doing not only marginalized the sufferings of people who'd actually endured genocidal events, but also, put all men on the same moral plane as, say, SS guards or Rwandan Hutus.

That apparently made me a reactionary who stood in the way of equality. I have a deep-seated distrust for extremism of any sort; but willingness to entertain middle ground is apparently "obscurantist".

I can relate to a lot of what this article says. I've completely checked out of society, and I've given up on women altogether. But, I've never even thought to place the blame on feminism; seems ridiculous. Rather, I chalk it up to my ex going through a rough spot (for about 10 years).

Even though I view my experience as an isolated one, it did open my eyes to the reality of life; nothing is permanent. The risk you have to take to be with a significant other is too high, IMO, and made even greater now that I have a daughter.

My emotional reaction, given how close to home this is, is to blame it on the system, and say women have too much power when it comes to custodial privileges, but truth be told, my ex and I never went through the system. We agreed on everything outside of court. Doesn't make it easier. And it doesn't exactly make me want to jump back in the game. It's not feminism, but it may be something else that I can't put my finger.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Sounds like the whinge of emotionally stunted males who couldn't get laid in a women's prison with a hatful of pardons.
