'haploid' describes an organism with only 1/2 the number of chromosomes as normal.

Jesus may have had 23 instead of 46. Unfortunately for the christers thinking to themselves "AHA !!" it turns out a human embryo with 23 isn't even remotely viable.

Scripture doesn't record Jesus as resembling an undifferentiated and amorphous blob of goo, so that's out as an explanation.

A haploid Jesus would still lack Y chromosome.

That too, and probably bones, internal organs and a brain.

I know, you're thinking Pat Robertson does just fine, but he has a deal with SATAN; Jesus, obviously, didn't make the cut for that side.

Fitting, since his followers lack the WHY chromosome.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

The virgin birth always struck me as a strange "miracle". After all, if any woman said to you, I've never had sex, but I'm pregnant, would you suspect lying or miracle? How would anyone know she was a virgin? I think Martin Luther, of all people, had it right, the miracle was not that Mary had a virgin birth but that Joseph believed it.

Haha he said that?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
