Evolution is riddled with holes like a piece of Swiss cheese

RE: Evolution is riddled with holes like a piece of Swiss cheese
I'm posting here just because the thread title is unbelievably funny! And I really don't like Swiss cheese, it's my least favourite.

Dates that do not conform to this estimate are thrown out. Most C-14 dates are thrown out.

The accuracy of carbon-14 dating relies on faulty assumptions and is subject to bias. At best, radiocarbon dating is only accurate for the past few thousand years. It is science's dirty little secret, and yet they continue to lie that it is proof of evolution.

I bet you stupidly think that Christians are the only ones who try to use science to debunk science. I bet when you realize that many of us here have run into Muslims and Jews as trying to do the same thing you'll still cling to this horrible tactic.

Then when you know you cant debunk science with religious crap. you will move to trying to co opt science, which Muslims and Jews have also tried as well.

The problem religious people do no want to face is that science is not religion dependent. It is not debunked with religion nor does it prop up any religion.

The planet is 4 billion years old. The universe is 14 billion years old. No religion was around at that time, not yours, not any. Eventually our planet's core will die and all life on this planet will die. Our sun will also die to, and the universe will continue on with no record of any human or the gods they make up, including the one you buy.

Oh, and the mistranslated and misappropriated text of a 2000 year old book is perfectly ok. Don't let those morons who fill you full of this garbage make a hypocrite out of you.

Christianity is not an excuse for stupidity. Your god gave you a brain, use it.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

I have said it before, but apparently it bears repeating.

If science finds fossils and is able to 'connect the dots' to logically show evolution, this is "voodoo interpretation", but if a theist finds a scroll written from hearsay well after the alleged event, that is not a "voodoo interpretation"?
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.

You aren't required to accept evolution, but you also are not allowed to posit fantasy as fact.

Furthermore, if you're going to simply copy/paste from other websites, it is considered good form to link to other websites or (at the very least) acknowledge that the work is not your own. Otherwise, people might come to think of you as a semi-literate boob without the capacity for original thought.

Boru

Actually, before I realized it was copypasta, I thought he was simply an idiot with no understanding of evolution.

Now I know that he's an idiot with no understanding of evolution, and additionally is unable to frame his objections himself using his own native tongue, and is comfortable plagiarizing.

In that sense, it's all good; we've got a better bead on his character. Typical dishonest Christian, bereft of both education and ethics.

No, of course not. Since he was a poe and knew you I did figure he mint be from TTA though. Their banning policy is much more lenient then it is here.

Since this thread is dedicated to stupid arguments, I'd like to add that the best swiss cheese is Le Gruyère, which doesn't have holes. Q.E.D! There is no God!

Of course there are holes in evolution, that's why they are trying all the time to better the theory, but what does creationist have, and of all people they should know better, they have nothing to offer, they embarrass themselves every time they open their mouth.

Don't sweat the 14-C (carbon-14). It has a half-life of 5730 years and consequently isn't useful much beyond 60,000 years. I'm more interested in U-Pb, Th-Pb, K-Ar, Rb-Sr and Sm-Nd dating. They all have half-lives in excess of 500 Ma (Mega-anna, millions of years) and are much more useful in a geological context. ~Paleophyte

I think you should use the word Christian loosely, after all, it is obvious from your rantings, er posts, that you are a *True Chrsitian™.
