Come on, Esq... there's an Area69 for a reason.
And that reason is to keep this sort of conversations away from the younger audience that the forum in general is aimed at, right?
As a mod, you should have been the first to exercise restraint there... but, knowing you... knowing your line of business... you just couldn't! 
The trouble is that if a mod goes along with this behavior then... what are standard users to make of rule 6:

Perhaps Losty would do well to work on restricting these conversations to A69...
It's nothing against Losty, she's a great gal... but this constant hijacking of threads with this kind of material should be stifled. Hasn't any mod noticed this yet?

Hopefully someday people will be grown in pods without the want for sex.
so people can study space and time without sex getting in the way

People can do all those things without getting rid of sex. Believe me, there are plenty of other distractions holding humanity back that have nothing to do with intimacy. You not wanting sex is fine. Me not wanting furry sex is fine. Deciding what sort of sex or lack of sex people should or shouldn't have, or hoping people get rid of their own individual pleasures that have nothing to do with you? Not fine.

Why would they want to study space and time though?
