A bizarre anagram of St Peter's name

The Greek name of St Peter, SIMWN PETROS, anagrams to: MORTWS PENIS cf. Latin MORTUUS PENIS, "dead penis".

The above is, of course, just a total coincidence ...

However ... IESOUS CHRISTOS is also an anagram.

OSIRIS SET CHOUS

'Chous' is a measurement of liquid quantity, 12 times the next lowest measure.

In one of the Egyptian myths about Osiris and Set, Set chops up Osiris and distributes the bits all over Egypt. Osiris' wife Isis collects the bits together and reassembles him, but she can't find his penis cos its been eaten by a fish.

Dead penis sounds about right when talking about Saint Peter. He's obviously dead and probably had a penis.
