Sandy Friggin' Hook
So I've spent a few days reading and watching every little piece of info the truthers have on Sandy Hook, and then did the same for all the information given by the rest of the world. I find that the claim of Sandy Hook being a hoax is ridiculous. I'll play with the idea that maybe there is a conspiracy behind this, but it sure as hell wasn't done in such a way that was going to involve thousands of actors and paid off police, fake witnesses and hospital staff. In order to keep this event secretive you would want to involve as few people as possible to make sure the secret stays buried.

Yeah, I know I'm a little late at taking a good look at this event, but it is better late than never. So anyway, maybe, just humoring the idea, but maybe the government was behind the attack. In this scenario I could see the shooter being used or framed with a very small handful of people involved, but an all out hoax is just not logical. If they are that concerned with pushing a secret agenda they aren't going to be worrying about pretending to kill a bunch of kids, using risky fake crisis actors. They would just kill them be done with it.

I can not see the logic in taking the path of the most resistance in order to achieve this goal to attack the 2nd amendment. The conspirators have attacked Facebook pages of friends of the victim's family, accusing them of being fake. This conspiracy would involve so many people that once you take a good look at it it starts to have more holes than Swiss cheese. It's silly and without a lick of evidence from the conspiracy theorists I am going to have to say that this tragedy either happened exactly the way it was reported or an intelligent conspiracy was used to push an agenda. However, it most certainly was not a hoax. Alrighty, bring on the flames or the agreements.

Another chain of reasoning, in other words, with every link CUT, and yet there are maroons that still find the argument compelling.

There are morons that still think 9-11 was a government conspiracy.

It's the equivalent of claiming a flat Earth.

There are Holocaust deniers, JFK conspiracies, 9/11 inside job conspiracies. Sandy Hook is simply another example of when crappy media exploits delusional and gullible people.

Yeah, I know there are a lot of these theories, but this is one I've been pestered about by a couple people. Their claims are very entertaining, but just not reasonable. One of the pages I stumbled on had tried to claim Tony Hawk, Mad TV, SNL and Law and Order actors were all crisis actors at Sandy Hook. That actually had me laughing my ass off. I admit there are peculiar ideas someone might bring up now and again, but that's about as far as this story goes.

Sandy is a small conspiracy but it does fan the fears of gun nutters. The biggest conspiracy people fall for is religion itself.

Regarding JFK, no two conspiracy theory books seem to agree on ANYTHING.

Curiously, 2 books, by 2 different authors, neither claiming conspiracy, (Moore and Bugliosi) cover some ground together, and quite a bit uniquely, and both books are mutually consistent.

How can all the conspiracy books be totally mutually incompatible, and 2 non-conspiracy books dovetail ?

And how does this fit with the Warren Report? The Warren Report's big problem was not figuring out the timing of the 3 shots adequately, and that opened the door for the conspiracy industry, along with some of the involved agencies investigating themselves. Moore and Bugliosi figure out the timing, and bolster the Commission's conclusions.

As for the house committee on assassinations findings, they came up with a huge CF, the audio analysis of the dictabelt recording. Moore proves it cannot be a recording of the assassination made in Dealey Plaza, and Bugliosi goes further and proves it's a recording from the exterior of the Merchandise Mart, the original destination of the motorcade,

I also note, Moore and Bugliosi have a common tactic in confronting the conspiracy industry, they challenge with facts. The conspiracy industry answers with ad homs, sweeping generalizations, and fantastical appeals to a continuing government conspiracy o this very day. The conspiracy industry cannot reply with facts, there not being any they all agree upon.

(this is a huge topic, I have done a grave disservice by not going on for another 100 pages, but I don't have time. READ Moore and Bugliosi !!!
