There will always be people who don't like each other, being colour of skin or whatever, I myself don't like soul music, or I rather be white than black or red, or yellow, but this doesn't make me a Racists, its simply my choice in what I like the most. Even the animals don't get on together, one particular animal wont like another, because of its colour or whatever, all monkeys don't get along, and yet there all monkeys.

Digging enormous holes in the ground and filling them with money would have the same effect, but putting the money in people's pockets might stim the economy more. Either way the military industrial complex doesn't get the mean green though.

I'm pretty sure racism is a world-wide phenomenon.

I'd rather call it bigotry though we haven't got that kind of distinction in the German language. Well, yes, the word exists, but it's hardly used. It kind of got out of fashion at some time.

I'm using it here because it closes the semantic loopholes of muslims, for example, not being a race. And right now that kind of bigotry is most virulent in Europe as well as the USA. It certainly takes the driver's seat at present although the old targets are certainly not forgotten. Openly among certain hate groups and more subtile in certain tabloids painting black people as drug dealers and the usual stuff.
