It's morphin' time! (R-rated version)
If you've ever wondered what The Might Morphin' Power Rangers would be like re-imagined as a gritty, ultra-violent, dystopian sci-fi flick, wonder no more. James Van Der Beek (who is also credited as a writer) and Katie Sackhoff star in this short but bloody take on the campy series, and it's actually quite entertaining. There's also some good comedy for those that have actually seen the series. The owners of the Power Rangers franchise are trying to have it taken down, so enjoy it while you can...

Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

No need I was in France and saw what looked at first like a power rangers thing, but this one included ripping the still beating hearts out of the monsters and other such things.

Along with the topless female presenters French childrens tv was a bit of a revelation.

Their news made a Saw film look like the Brady Bunch.

James Vanderbeek and Shia Leboeuf are redundant.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Way too much plot for Michael Bay.

Haven't been able to watch the video yet, but thought I would share this regarding the Power Rangers.

Twenty years ago I returned from a long deployment. After getting the boat stink off me and settling in with a beer to enjoy the evening with my family my 8 year old son says "watch this". He proceeded to strike a fight pose with fists cocked then flopped over backwards and started rolling around on the floor. I was duly informed that he was a Power Ranger. I looked at my wife and asked "what the fuck is a Power Ranger?". A few days later I got to see my first and last episode and understood immediately my son's performance. They spent 90% of the show getting their asses kicked.

They have to get their asses kicked, so they have a reason to pull out the special power moves at the end. They never learn to just go with the big moves first and save themselves some time.

I readily admit that part of the reason I enjoyed this video is because I also have a son that thinks he's a power ranger. The show is just mind-numbingly terrible, so it's entertaining to see someone spoof it with headshots and f-bombs.
