Of the two videos, mine and yours, what do you believe was going on? You misunderstood if you thought I was waiting for you to admit that you didn't know so that I could jump in and explain it. That wasn't the point. I want to see whether or not you're capable of seeing something really crazy without believing that it happened exactly as it appeared to have. I'm glad you offered that second video because unlike mine, it didn't star well a known magician. So, what's your take? On both please... You mean quickly edited shakey cam footage of an indistinct circle that could be anything from a balloon, to drone, to RC plane or helicopter? If the guy can summon UFOs on demand, a real test would involve the police in a helicopter chase vehicle and/or FAA records with the radar readings for that time and place. Occam's Razor - what's more likely, this dude can actually summon UFOs on a whim, in which case he'd be the subject of a ton of legit study because actual alien contact would be a historically big deal, or this guy is a charlatan, likely with an accomplice or two and is doing it for the attention? You're quickly becoming that "They can't put it on the Internet if it's not true" lady from that TV ad a couple years ago. Everything you've posted has been a big "Bonjour."

That's why I am super curious about what he thinks about Penn and Teller! I feel like he may have some kind of credulity/incredulity deficiency.

Crossless1's parenting tip #47: Sometimes you have to let the kids win at games. Otherwise, they'll get discouraged.
Ok, Huggy. You got me. It's a damn UFO, and Captain Psychotic can summon it at will. Three questions: When will the Mother Ship arrive? Do they love P-Funk as much as I do? And will their glad-handing manifesto be entitled 'To Serve Man'?
All very good questions.

Accomplice? didn't catch the part where the news team picked the time and place? that's the difference between the two video's, you don't get to set the conditions with Penn and Teller. The shaky cam just means that the camera is at max zoom. It was clearly a sphere and radio controlled craft cant get that altitude, at least not affordable ones, use your brain. Also, what would be the motive in creating this elaborate hoax, money defiantly wasn't one. Oh, and he's dead btw... (March 6, 2015 at 8:15 pm)Norman Humann Wrote: In this case it's god and aliens! Two in one! The gullibility levels are through the roof! The ironic thing is that your explanations are just as ridiculous, "hey! it's a High flying RC crafts that happens to be a glowing sphere." You guys trying to offer a logical explanation instead of conceding that you just don't know, would mean that you believe everything in the universe to be known.
Huggy? I answered. Where ya at?

Huggy, I've read most of this thread now and as usual, I'm always perplexed by the utter disregard for reason and the blind devotion that sheep have for a religion that considers them closer to livestock than humans. If you're a woman, a person of color, or even a native of a community or country that doesn't practice Christianity, than guess what pal - Jehovah simply doesn't like you and has made that abundantly clear in that immoral book we've dubbed, the Bible. More to the point though ... Are you really going to sit there behind your computer and tell us that you actually believe that your "all-powerful" god was communicating to a self-proclaimed prophet, telling him to summon alien aircraft that coincidentally are always a great deal off, never land on the lawn in front of him, and always have the same non-descript spherical shape? Are you really going to tell us that your god wanted to demonstrate his power by contacting one crazy old nutjob only to show us that UFOs are real if we have a telescopic camera and a healthy imagination? Fuck it, Lets make a short list so that we're all real clear on how ludicrous and gullible you are: 1. You believe that a godman walked the earth with no more evidence for this than the writings found in one book that 80% of the world's population do NOT believe. 2. You accept that the writings of a handful of primitives is factual even though you discount the writings of thousands of other primitives. 3. You defend the deplorable actions of a deity who proudly boasts of his own anger, wrath, vengeance and jealousy by using words like manslaughter instead of murder. (Your mental gymnastics by the way would make a pretzel barf.) 4. You worship a deity that clearly endorses the owning and beating of slaves. 5. You pray to a wizard that built a garden and made a tree that he knew would lead to him requiring himself to sacrifice himself to himself to save us all from a place he made himself. 6. You now claim that that same deity is using UFOs to prove his existence in a way similar to every other UFO video sighting EVER MADE. 7. You are a bona fide cult member, imprinted and utterly lost. Stop selling that dark disease and let your mind free. You should join us over here in the light. In truth, you'd probably be a nice addition if you could shake all that stupidity off. |
