Uuh ooh, one of my favorite covers of all, a super sludgy version of Gary Wright's Dream Weaver

RE: Covers
I cannot post links due to the 30/30 rule. But I would submit that Jonny Cash's version of 'Hurt" should be included. I know he was a BAC, but the song has a compelling pathos.

Have I mentioned that I love this man in every possible aspect?

RE: Covers
First, I'm not a fan of Marilyn Manson's, but all three covers I've heard from him -- "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", "Tainted Love", and "Personal Jesus" -- are all great covers. The guy definitely knows how to pick his material.

My favorites --

Soundgarden, covering Devo:

-- and while we've got the 'Garden on our minds, Johnny Cash doing one of their classics:

The Who at Monterrey Pop, 1967 -- Mooney just murders his kit:

... and for a left turn into the surreal:

I like this one, although the original from Al Green is my favorite

I don't care for the original.. but this cover with the video as a tribute to Hebdo and others.. very cool.

Damn, I would give like a dozen kudos for that, PT. I was going to post A War Pigs cover, but that banjo rendition was amazing. Here's some more Sabbath...

Trent Reznor and company doing a great job covering Led Zeplin.

Trent again covering Queen.
