It's complicated. OP/ED
When anyone, argues about politics, economic views, or religion, they like to think they are separate subjects. They are and they are not. They are different constructs, but they are not different in that it is about pattern seeking and replication of the group to foster cooperation and success for the idea.

Everything we do in life we do. They are all forms of communication. They are all about fostering cooperation and grouping to foster safety from threat.

Our species ability to be cruel or compassionate are outside any class, boarder, political view, nationality. There is not one label we assign ourselves or others, that will magically make someone good or bad. Our behaviors are in us.

Our evolutionary empathy is why we avoid harming others. Our evolutionary cruelty is why we harm others. Everything else is the excuse to set up social orders. This isn't a call to end differences, as if you could on a planet of 7 billion. It is a simple statement of evolutionary fact, no different than saying the earth rotates around the sun.

It is simply to get people to value individuals with the empathy our species has in us, and put the club issues on the back burner. We do not live in a perfect world, there is no such thing as a utopia at any level for anyone. All we have is us, one species on one tiny dot.
