Utah Votes to Bring Back Firing Squad

You know, I sometimes feel down because I'm stuck in Michigan, but then I tell myself that I could be from Utah.
So, in case you aren't aware, there is a shortage of certain drugs used in lethal injection due to European manufacturers refusing to distribute them, so that is causing some of our more bloodthirsty states to come up with creative solutions. Enter Utah...

Dead is dead. The humane solution is to abolish capital punishment, but that never enters the minds of these rightwing bible thumpers. It's laudable that the European manufacturers don't sell out their drugs for a purpose they never were designed for, but I'm not so sure if they had reacted the same if it wasn't about the bad publicity.

I'm against capital punishment but personally I'd prefer being killed by a firing squad, by far.

Public viewing could get a little messy...
Are they going full bore? Everyone's got a bullet? Or the old no one knows who killed him gambit where all but one or two have blanks?
Also, how many stories of people getting shot in the head and surviving do we hear?
If you survive a firing squad, do you get to go home?
