The Australian federal government has made it illegal for Australians to travel to "declared area" without what is deemed a "legitimate purpose". Any country or area can be made a "declared area", any nation or region can be made into a "declared area". Because Syria has been made into a "declared area", they are now charging a man for travelling there and fighting with Kurdish forces who are fighting ISIS. 


In my personal opinion anybody who goes to fight against ISIS is a hero and should not face the prospect of spending a lengthy prison sentence.

I know that, however I wanted to attract attention to something I believe is unfair and a little outraged about.
