It does exist. There's just outcry about the 'immorality' of it. So you wouldn't mind the love of your life being devoured by a machine to fuel it's killing? People always personalise issues.

Not if the love of my life was already dead, no. I love him for his personality, not his body Smile

But this machine killed him, and then it humiliated him by eating him to kill his friends...

LOL - dunno myself. People do get riled about this stuff. About the injustice of it. Why fret about murdered babies and the genocides of innocents if it doesn't matter? Clearly you and I are mutants void of emotion.

If the machine killed him, that's what I care about. Not wether the machine consumes his body after he's dead Smile It's hardly an injustice to eat a carcass... I eat cooked carcasses myself commonly. Smile

Murdering babies and genocides of the innocent is/are not necessarily evil, as can be demonstrated http://www.wowwiki.com/The_Culling Wink I'm hardly devoid of emotion, I just don't see anything inherently "wrong" with the eating of corpses Smile

Confusedhock:
So God isn't evil then Sae? I've been discussing this on another forum. God is always 'just', and him killing is lawful. Murder is bad, but God never murders/ takes life unlawfully.

Not an injustice if you say so, but a bit insulting, no?
As can be demonstrated here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Barrows
eating corpses can be hazardous to your health. And soylent green was people, and we all know where that led.

God may or may not be evil... that judgement is reserved for one's particular views of what denotes evil Smile If God to you is automatically just, then is it not also true to you that he is not evil (to you). Smile However, God could easily be evil to others, if they have indeed defined his characteristics as being such. Smile

Evil is in the eye of 'the beholder'. Wink Evil eyes... dreadful thing to be cursed with :0

I hope that fence you sit on isn't painful Sae Tongue

Apart from if you define just as evil, or just as just, God isn't doing bad stuff (murder) in the real world definition if he's acting lawfully (killing).

I'd say it's the other way around. But as a speciest I'd still have some serious misgivings on eating people.

No... there is no more person there once they have died :S

Just a dead human. Smile And a human is a digestible animal for another human... to the extent of my knowledge at the least Smile I have no qualms about eating another human... though i do in fact have a great deal of disgust for eating people

I'll say... I'm so lucky not to have evil eyes ^_^ I mean... can you imagine how hard it would be to get a man laid if I look like I'm on the verge of stabbing him 37 times in the chest or the like? Bloody evil is how it would be to have evil eyes, i says! Tiny Tiger

More seriously... which fence am i sitting on? :S

'God' may or may not be doing such things... I have no data regarding her existence, so I don't now where I'd have any evidence by which to consider her either evil or just. So far as the stories in "The Bible" seem to go, I'd refer to that character as evil. However, as in all other books, the book God and the real one may be entirely different in nature. And perhaps I have misinterpreted what was meant in the book... always a possibility i suppose Smile

My lack of freckles makes me wonder if I'm really a Martian that was adopted... it might even mean that I am in fact not transexual, and just a sexy martian woman! Big Grin I do hope human men and women are turned on by the color green Angel

@ adrian... i had 18 emoticons in that text, and had to remove 8 of them to post : o could we perhaps see about expanding that in future? <insert my poor confused smiley here that would otherwise not fit : O>

I don't see how it's insulting... it's a corpse. Either you're going to burn it all up, let the worms eat it, eat it yourself, or do something bizarre with it (like cryogenics).

I'm told by other members of this forum that human is the other swine, so far as taste goes Wink

RE: Terminator?
Bit is it just a corpse if it had previously been a loved one? That's what I meant. We have complex rituals in order to say farewell, and I dunno about you, but I'd feel insulted if some machine slaughtered my loved ones then ate them to give itself more energy. Or a bear/tiger/lion/nother human..(although species survival comes into play when humans are involved, can't say I'd refuse their corpse to the starving...actually I probably would.Thinking if it were a Loved one.)
