Whachoo talkin' 'bout, cable? I listen to the StarTalk podcast...

I only saw an episode on TV because I was at my parents' house one time.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Diddly-Ho! Neil Tyson had Edward Snowden in his podcast! Neil kept repeating how Snowden's robot walked in his office - I guess that was for legal reasons, because if they had direct, willing conversation by directly calling each-other would be kind of illegal I presume instead of having person walking into his office without his consent?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
