Reminds me of the story about Andrew Carnegie upbraiding Mark Twain for his unbelief.  In exasperation, Carnegie blurts out, 'But America is a Christian nation!'

Twain (it is reported) calmly replies, 'I know that, Andrew, but so is Hell and we never boast about that.'

No. I've had some communist friends over the years and they are not to blame for these atrocities. Their ideology as they explained it to me also didn't support them.

Marx apparently did not acknowledge lifting 'intellectual property' from the Bible regarding communism, so folks perpetuating and profiting from that theft would be accessories after the fact.
