That was very well put Min. I am glad that the situation didn't escalate into something that would have damaged my relationship with my parents. They even urged me not to tell the rest of my family and that they would keep it to themselves. I suppose my parents are just accepting. Either that, or they think it is just a phase. Either way, I am happy that it ended the way it did.
