What IS good, and how do we determine it?

For the record, staff are not required to post in red or green when posting in an official capacity.   Doing so is simply an ad hoc practice that is not universally observed.

If the context of a post isn't sufficiently clear for one to know the post is being made in an official capacity or not, one need only ask.  It's that simple.

Are you guys beginning to see my point about the advantages of having "regular use accounts" for arguing in the forum and "mod accounts" for watching over the forum?

On more than one occasion, a mod has HAD TO SAY something like, "Notice the green font of my name...". Well, no, actually, I didn't. My laptop shows that dark green text in a near-black color that I could not distinguish from deep green.

Your red, of course, is unambiguous. Shy

I'm pretty sure he has evidence that he doesn't believe in god.

No doubt. But does he have evidence that God does not exist. That is his actual position.

And you're a tu quoquing presupposing theist who is ignoring my point. I explained in detail why theists are guilty of presuppositions in the 'thoughts on atheism and apologetics' thread, but I guess you ignored that too.

I can't recall whether I saw that or not. That thread is not one I'm really monitoring.

However, some apologists ARE presuppositionalists. Others are classicists while still others are evidentialists. I'm leaning toward the last group.

And are you beginning to see what a huge pain in the arse that would be, having to keep logging in and out of different accounts simply to maintain the forum? It's bad enough doing that on a mobile as it is. Then of course we have the fun of creating new "mod accounts" whenever we recruit new staff and then banning them later on. I'm going to say this plainly - you can imagine it in red ink if you prefer: this is the way things are done here; you don't like it, I'm sure nobody's going to stand between you and the door.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

In your browser, you have two windows open.

In the first window, you are logged in as a regular user. Cuss at me all you want.

In the second window, you are logged in as a mod. Correct me all you want.

Easy peasy.

As it has been suggested to you, Randy, there is a forum for this.  Please refrain from giving us your amazing suggestions here, and take it there.

This must be exceedingly frustrating knowing there is no evidence.

Randy, this ain't gonna happen. Drop it.

But, you already believe in god, that's one. And two, most of not all arguments for god's existence are based on the presupposition that he exists.

And I haven't seen much evidence from you, mr. evidentialist -_-

Will do. If I have any suggestions, I know where to offer them.

The last post or two were, of course, simply part of the ongoing discussion in this thread...
