There are plenty of "higher powers" than myself, none of which has anything to do with -any- religion, -any- god, or -any- jesus. None of these "higher powers" being "higher powers" means shit. The IRS is a higher power, and I pay them or else.......and? Something tells me that this won't be satisfying, to you.......

It has to do with the rest of the world and everything else because everything is good or bad energy, or positive and negative energy. We all have stored energy that can be good or bad. If we were to all do righteously in everything we do and every conscious thought we have who is to say that positive energy will not lead to something greater than we can imagine in terms of society, nature, advancement of real understanding. Who knows what we as one entity with the rest of the Universe could achieve?

I'd say the human race uniting and standing shoulder to shoulder for the first time in history would be enough. No God needed - just people, helping each other out. Just how it's always been.

Ok when I say higher power I mean one thing that is the source of all creation.
And before anyone says how cruel it is if it does exist just know that evil and chaos are needed for some sort of balance.
Just how its always been. Are you blind to the fact that the worst atrocities and most large scale lies have been from feuding religions. They will never console without unity under God. All texts preach a similar generalized righteous way of being if we can just agree that there is only one thing that created it all. Who cares what you call it as long as it shows respect for the things we are not yet privileged to know because we live astray from the intended path.
